1 st Storey
100 Dragons Hall
100 Dragons Hall on the first floor of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is designed according to Buddhist temple of the Tang Dynasty.It is solemn and dignified with a hundred Buddhas enshrined on both sides of the hall.
Avalokitesvara Hall
Behind the 100 Dragons Hall is the Avalokitesvara Hall.A beautiful handcrafted Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara sits upon an elaborate lotus throne appears before your eyes.Along the sides are the Zodiac Protectors,surrounded by smaller statues of Cintamanicakra Avalokitesvara.
2nd Storey
Tripitaka Chamber and Exhibition Hall
An Exhibition Hall is located on this floor.Enriching religious art exhibition featuring calligraphy,paintings and sculptures will be held here regularly.
Also situated on this floor is the Depository of Buddhist Texts.This is where the Maha-pranjna-paramita Sutra is housed.
3rd Storey
Buddhist Culture Museum
An impressive collection of Buddhist artefacts is displayed on the thrid level of the temple.The featured artefacts encompass and embrace all three branches of Buddhism and relates the events in the life of the Buddha.
Sacred Buddha Relics Chamber
“Sariras” are formed due to the cultivation of discipline ,meditation and wisdom.They represent the blessings of the most divine nature.The Museum of Buddhist Cultural Relics houses the sariras of Buddha.His Disciples and eminent monks from various countries,for faithful believers to look at with reverence.
4th Storey
Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic Chamber
The Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic Chamber is the main reliquary of the Buddha Relic.The gold Sacred Buddha’s Tooth Relic stupa or reliquary is the centre of attraction in this magnificent room.The Buddha Mandala above this stupa and the gold floor tiles enhance the room.Only the Sangha have the access to the inner chamber to conduct the daily services.Public can venerate and observe the daily services from the public viewing area.
Roof
Ten Thousand Buddhas Pavilion
As you arrive at the roof level of Buddha Tooth Temple,you will step into a splendidly spacious pavilion surrounded by a sea of fragrant orchids where 10,000 Buddhas are enshrined and worshipped. The varieties of orchids planted in the Pavilion are named after the Maha Theros (venerable senior monks)of the various temples.
In the centre of the 10,000 Buddhas Pavilion is a gigantic cloisonne Vairocana Buddha Prayer Wheel.Cylindrical in shape,it is a religious artefact commonly used by Chinese Buddhists.The rim is embossed with esoteric Vairocana Mantra.A large number of Dharma sutras are placed inside.Every turn of the wheel represents a single recital of the scripture and mantra.The wheel is a convenient way to recite the sutra.
